The Engagement
Pricing Dashboard Setup. We built a location-by-location comparison view using the retailer's existing export data from their POS system. The dashboard showed pricing side-by-side across all four outlets with simple category groupings. Timeline: three weeks including training.
The Outcome
The team identified 23 product lines where pricing diverged by more than 8% between locations. Decisions on how to address this remained entirely with their buying team. The dashboard continued to be used in monthly merchandise meetings after the engagement closed.

A mid-sized grocery retailer in Kuala Lumpur wanted to understand whether their pricing on a particular range of household goods was keeping pace with cost changes over an 18-month period. They had the data in spreadsheets but no one had the time to structure it.

Pricing Insight Review. We worked with two years of their export data, structured a period-by-period comparison for the relevant product range, and prepared a written summary of the key patterns. Timeline: six working days from data receipt.
The Outcome
The summary showed two periods where pricing adjustments had not tracked cost increases, and one period where the reverse had occurred. The retail team used this as a reference in their next supplier meeting. The engagement was self-contained at RM 530.
